Capital E is working with talented young writers in creating worlds and characters from their own imagination, and now these tales are being brought to life as a live-action radio play!

This fresh-twist performance on the golden age of radio is touring the schools across the country. Equal parts comedy, drama, adventure, and intrigue your tauira will be enchanted by the stories of their peers and inspired to write their own. This experience has strong links to literacy and to the New Zealand Curriculum through The Arts and English.

Tauira will experience, analyse, and respond to different forms of drama and theatre, joining in on the noise-making with interactive Foley fun! They will see how texts are constructed for a range of purposes, recognising connections between oral and visual language.

Story Studio Live showcases the voices of young people, inspiring the next generation of writers, actors, and creative thinkers. This unique touring show of professional actors is an opportunity to show your students just how far their imagination can go!
