A Havelock Theatre production
Written by local Don Edwards, Wakamarina Gold is set on the goldfields so this an opportunity to experience a Havelock ‘take’ on the life the gold miners knew, and watch the drama unfold.
It's a very funny play with music and singing and an entirely local cast
Marlborough has a strong reputation as a region with a vibrant theatre culture and the Havelock Theatre Company has been a strong contributor since its founding in 1999. This play was first produced in 2002 and will be Havelock Theatre's 25th production
The company presents its work with cafe-style seating so audiences can bring their own nibbles and drinks. Tea, coffee, and tasty snacks are available as a fundraiser by other community groups.
