NO Productions Company presents a rehearsed reading of Dear Jane, a one act play written by Nataliya Oryshchuk, winner of the 2018 Playwrights Association of New Zealand competition.

Jane McIlraith/Deans is a 19th century Scottish immigrant who follows her fiancé John Deans to New Zealand as one of the first Canterbury settlers. The reading will be presented by three experienced local actors and followed by a Q&A with the playwright in the intimate Orange Studios.

NO Productions is an independent theatre company that creates unique experiences for  audiences and regularly stages original theatre works at various venues in post-earthquake Christchurch, where the company was founded in 2012 by Nataliya Oryshchuk. Atmospheric and evocative, our productions bring a very distinct artistic flavour to the city's theatre scene.  We actively support creativity, originality of expression and passion for the theatre.
